I want to get a leopard gecko, but im not sure how many and what type (male or female) to get. any advice?

i would get two females the same age. you do not want to get one later, because one would get older and may eat the young one.


never get two males, they will fight and fight till injury or death.


i wouldnt get a male and female,they could mate.


i would recomend getting two different types... same age.


like one bell albino and one black/yellow.

so at the store just ask for two females, babies, and different morphs.

But if you want only one i would get a 10 gallon tank and two it is very important to get a 20 gallon.

well first off i would just start off with one. second you need at least a 10 gallon tank. you need a rock or something rough so it can shed its skin. a bog water bowl and a place it can hide in. usually you use sand. and you need a thermostat and proper lighting.
you cant put two males in the same tank or else they will fight to death
