Male - Female Dressing (Advice Please)?

Hello All

Just wondering if anyone here has any advice for me...i'm a crossdresser and i've been dressing in private as a female for a long time but never been out in public. I dress appropriately (skirt suit - conservative length) and have all the girly stuff, such as kitten heels, stockings, lingerie, jewellery and make up, i also wear a wig and have a handbag! however, i want to be as 'passable' as possible, can anyone give me any pointers as to being in public 'en femme' and how to act/behave to pass? also, should i venture out in the daytime or night time - this is important!

Thanks

It sounds like you have a nice wardrobe, so just something that is not too flamboyant. For makeup, you'll want to keep it light if all you want is too walk around outside for the first time. I wouldn't go for extremely high heels either. If you are really nervous, go out at night when there are less people that can really notice you. You might even want to go for a drive, but do not wear heels when driving. Hope this helps.Male - Female Dressing (Advice Please)?
Do what makes you feel comfortable, that's all the advice i can give you. Maybe also take a friend with you!
Venture out anytime you want. You have the right to dress however you want, and you shouldn't worry whether you are passable or not. Contrary to what you might be thinking in your mind, not all eyes will be watching you as you step outside that door. So, go out there, enjoy life. You'll never know how great it is to swim, until you make that first dive.
Here's a website to help you... Good luck and look pretty!
Its all about your makeup, how you look and act female if you don't talk to anyone you should be fine.
I think it depends greatly on what you want to do when you are out. If your going out clubbing you'll dress and act differently than if you were going to a restaurant.

The best thing i could suggest is just be yourself, maybe act a lil more ';girly'; as such, it's hard to give you a ';guide'; without knowing who you really are, where you want to go etc.

make up wise remember to go for sutble, tones that suit your skin and that are not too flambouant.

Good luck and have fun =)
Assuming you have a way to get out of your house and get somewhere discretely: Go to a large/busy mall on a Saturday at the busiest time. Its crowded so you'll less likely draw attention to yourself.

Find and scope out the mall ahead of time. Find an anchor store entrance that upon entrance immediately takes you to the womens clothes section so you can blend in right away. Plus you'll park and approach where its less crowded. Pick a store where the employees don't ask if they can help you. If you get nervous and want to bail, briefly walk around the merchandise then casually exit the way you came in. If you gain confidence, venture further into the store and perhaps into the mall itself.

Dress as the other women would at the mall, not what you prefer to wear. Pay particular attention to shoes and the lack or presence of socks (and length) in conjunction with the shoe type.

As far as how to act, just be yourself, it will go fine if it was meant to be.
