Undergoing a male-to-female transition... advice?

I'm undergoing a full male-to-female transition. As far as coming out and changing at work? How would you recommend I change my clothes/makeup/hair styles? I work in a teen-oriented clothes store.Undergoing a male-to-female transition... advice?
Well I'm not an expert but if you were already semi transgender before than I don't think you have much work cut out for you.

Just keep doing what was working for you.

If not, just dress how you feel, you're a woman you know what you like :)

Congrats on the transition. I hope you throw a big party afterward :)Undergoing a male-to-female transition... advice?
Fiirst off I know 3 other post op TS girls and all had to live as a girl for 1yr BEFORE surgery. They were on hormones and 2 got implants (the 3rd gets injections) for their chests. That way everyone at work will be used to the female you. The important thing is that you are sure of your decision, and know that they can not discriminate against you at work.
why?...
do what you feel is right
First, be yourself. This is how answers come to most people, regardless of orientation. You have not stopped being yourself.
Examine your employer and figure out how pro-LGBT they are. If you don't see a problem with how the company is, then go ahead and have a chat with your boss about your situation and your plans. Work out when you'll start presenting female full-time there and do it then. That way you'll have a smooth transition at work and keep your job. If the place seems hostile towards that kind of stuff, then look for something else and start out in female mode and stick with that. There are many places now that are starting to be very trans-friendly, including stores like the one you currently work at. Oh, and make sure that when you do decide to make the switch at work you're able to pull off female mode for extended amounts of time. It's one thing to be female mode 8 waking hours a day between work and sleep hours, but being female 24/7 is a lot more involved. I learned that one the hard way trying to go from starting to transition to female 24/7 in just under 1 year.
I've never been in your situation, but here goes:

Don't overdo the makeup, I'd say (the drag queen look is only for drag queens), and maybe get laser hair removal on your face so you don't get stubble. As for clothes, I'd suggest wearing jeans (or at least long skirts) for a while, as you can usually tell the difference between a man's legs and a woman's legs. And grow your hair out and get an understated hairstyle, like a bob.

I hope everything goes really well for you! It's great that you're doing this.
Dress at work in whatever manner you feel comfortable in. If you work in retail, there should be no problems what-so-ever with you doing this. If your employer doesn't yet know about your transition, you might want to have a chat with them first.
DON'T

GOD Almighty I pray right now to YOU in the name of JESUS CHRIST; do not let this man do this to himself. Lord, I know that your Word stands true and the freedom that we all gain when we have a personal encounter with You. Lord GOD, show yourself to HIM in a miraculous way; I pray for complete and powerful restoration of his identity as a man, I come boldly to the throne of GRACE that you will help him in his time of need....change his heart, O Lord! Reveal yourself to him, and show him that this confusion is not eternal, the confusion is not from heredity, this confusion comes from the one who seeks to steal, kill and destroy his very soul by keeping it seperate; in blinded eyes are his sins, reveal to him the magnitude of the implications as he will by faith live life unto YOU Lord Jesus, and by faith, I have peace that the Holy Spirit will do a work in this man's heart and this unnatural transition does not need to happen. Lord, heal him, show HIM your LOVE, acceptance and prove to him that principalities and powers are at work with great vengeance in his life...let him be a MAN OF GOD, that he may help others so deceived! In CHRIST, this is my honest prayer. AMEN.
