My female guinea pig needs to be spayed any advice?

My female american shorthair guinea pig is getting spayed next week because she has an ovarian cyst. I need advice for perparing her and any adjustments to her room (her family's room is an unused office). My female guinea pig needs to be spayed any advice?
Make sure you get pain killers from your vet. Be sure that no one tries to pick her up and play with her until she is healed. She is also going to try to kick and scratch at the stitches, so be sure you ask the vet how to keep her away from them.My female guinea pig needs to be spayed any advice?

get her plenty of ice cream and some movies and just keep her comfy!
Give it more attention but what ever you do don't give it Ice cream.
Hopefully your vet has experience in spaying small rodents.

I would ask her about Critical Care for herbivores by Oxbow to have on hand. Often times, when rodents are put under anesthesia, they sometimes have trouble with their appetite. CC is good to have on hand for this. I'm assuming that she is also going to be on a course of antibiotics, so adding a probiotic will be helpful to maintain her gut flora. I use acidophilus.

Good luck on the surgery!
