Start spending more time with GOD now. Pray everyday. Be thankful. Zephaniah 3 (Amplified Bible) 17The Lord your God is in the midst of you, a Mighty One, a Savior [Who saves]! He will rejoice over you with joy; He will rest [in silent satisfaction] and in His love He will be silent and make no mention [of past sins, or even recall them]; He will exult over you with singing. Isaiah 49:15 (Amplified Bible)
15[And the Lord answered] Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, they may forget, yet I will not forget you
Proverbs 3:1 (Amplified Bible)
1MY SON, forget not my law or teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments; Psalm 119:16 (Amplified Bible)
16I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word.
Psalm 91 (Amplified Bible)
Psalm 91
1HE WHO [a]dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand].
2I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust!
3For [then] He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.
4[Then] He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings shall you trust and find refuge; His truth and His faithfulness are a shield and a buckler.
5You shall not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor of the arrow (the evil plots and slanders of the wicked) that flies by day,
6Nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor of the destruction and sudden death that surprise and lay waste at noonday.
7A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you.
8Only a spectator shall you be [yourself inaccessible in the secret place of the Most High] as you witness the reward of the wicked.
9Because you have made the Lord your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place,(A)
10There shall no evil befall you, nor any plague or calamity come near your tent.
11For He will give His angels [especial] charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways [of obedience and service].
12They shall bear you up on their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone.(B)
13You shall tread upon the lion and adder; the young lion and the serpent shall you trample underfoot.(C)
14Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he knows and understands My name [has a personal knowledge of My mercy, love, and kindness--trusts and relies on Me, knowing I will never forsake him, no, never].
15He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.
16With long life will I satisfy him and show him My salvation.
Hebrews 13:6 (Amplified Bible)
6So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm [I will not fear or dread or be terrified]. What can man do to me?
Colossians 2:2 (Amplified Bible)
2[For my concern is] that their hearts may be [a]braced (comforted, cheered, and encouraged) as they are knit together in love, that they may come to have all the abounding wealth and blessings of assured conviction of understanding, and that they may become progressively [b]more intimately acquainted with and may know more definitely and accurately and thoroughly that mystic secret of God, [which is] Christ (the Anointed One).
2 Corinthians 13:11 (Amplified Bible)
11Finally, brethren, farewell (rejoice)! Be strengthened (perfected, completed, made what you ought to be); be encouraged and consoled and comforted; be of the same [agreeable] mind one with another; live in peace, and [then] the God of love [Who is the Source of affection, goodwill, love, and benevolence toward men] and the Author and Promoter of peace will be with you.
2 Corinthians 7:6 (Amplified Bible)
6But God, Who comforts and encourages and refreshes and cheers the depressed and the sinking, comforted and encouraged and refreshed and cheered us by the arrival of Titus.
John 14:26 (Amplified Bible)
26But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.Prays/bible verses/advice for a future female soldier?
When you pray, don't worry about a set prayer just tell God of your:
- Problems and fears
- Things you want to thank him for
- I assume you'll want to ask him for protection
- Also ask him for the protection of loved ones
Take a look at the Lord's prayer - it's not just something to be recounted it is a guide of how to pray, setting out simple things to talk to God about, to thank and ask him for.
As far as bible verses go i don't really know what to advise, i assume you're allowed a bible, try getting a new one and reading through during down time - picking out verses you like. That'll help pass the time and also get you familiar with the whole text around the verse. By the time you're back you'll be able to recount those verses anytime.
As for advice, avoid bullets - they sting ;D
Good luck, and keep close to those friends - you'll want some good memories to go back to.
God is against you. Do not kill. How much more clear can it be? God does not approve of your actions. God especially despises it when women, who have the power to give life, instead use their lives for murder. Ezekiel 16:38 ';I will sentence you to the punishment of women who commit adultery and who shed blood; I will bring upon you the blood vengeance of my wrath and jealous anger.'; If you have faith in God and what is holy and sacred, don't become a soldier. Work for peace by becoming peaceful.
Thank you for your service to our country.
We have freedom today because of Military victory, and because of God's grace to us.
Many people are confused about killing in the Military, which is fighting to keep our right to worship God as we choose. Murder is quiet a different thing.
Psa 41:4 I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.
Psa 51:4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight:
Psa 66:18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:
Psa 103:10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
Psa 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
Psa 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Psa 51:17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
1John 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son
to be the propitiation for our sins.
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,
Ephesians 2:9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
We can not work to gain salvation , clearly it is a gift to us from God through His Son, Jesus the Christ.
John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by [through] me.

there are million,s of people back home who are praying for you
one of them will be me,,God will be your best friend over there
in time,s when you are afraid, just say God I know your here ,he is.
Eph 6:10-20
The Armor of God
10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
19Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.
And an AWESOME prayer is Psalms 143
Psalm 143: A psalm of David.
O LORD, hear my prayer,
listen to my cry for mercy;
in your faithfulness and righteousness
come to my relief.
Do not bring your servant into judgment,
for no one living is righteous before you.
The enemy pursues me,
he crushes me to the ground;
he makes me dwell in darkness
like those long dead.
So my spirit grows faint within me;
my heart within me is dismayed.
I remember the days of long ago;
I meditate on all your works
and consider what your hands have done.
I spread out my hands to you;
my soul thirsts for you like a parched land.
Selah
Answer me quickly, O LORD;
my spirit fails.
Do not hide your face from me
or I will be like those who go down to the pit.
Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,
for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go,
for to you I lift up my soul.
Rescue me from my enemies, O LORD,
for I hide myself in you.
Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God;
may your good Spirit
lead me on level ground.
For your name's sake, O LORD, preserve my life;
in your righteousness, bring me out of trouble.
In your unfailing love, silence my enemies;
destroy all my foes,
for I am your servant.
First of all, thank you for your service.
Don't regret taking some time to enjoy being with your friends before you leave. It is important to live in the present, meaning do what can be done now. Shortly, you will be away from your friends for potentially a very long time, so spend all the time you can with them. Remember that God will be with you always!
Some verses about friendship
Mark 12:31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor (I think friends count!) as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
John 15:13 Greater love has no man than this, that a man gives up his life for his friends.
While I am a former Christian... now an Atheist/Agnostic... I hope what I said will be of some help!
Have good contact and communication with your chaplain and go to church services and get to know men and women of God. You will need that support. I was a military wife and my husband got so many offers to sin and to do wrong but you have to be a soldier also for God as well. See Ephesians 6 and see how you can equip yourself Spiritually and start a new network of encouraging men and women of good and godly influence. God bless you, love you in Christ.
There is a little book called 'Strength for Service' (1). Since WW2 it's the constant companion of soldiers, but also girl/boy scouts and others. I'm reading in it each day and it is quite good for your personal meditation.
Besides 'SfS', a bible can be your constant companion. Perhaps you'd like to spend some 15 minutes a day for your personal devotion. It helps a lot and gives you new strength.
For really bad situations I learned Psalm 91 by heart, so I can pray something encouraging when I feel the need to.
The Lord with you!
Relax God loves you. Sit down and talk to him. Get the eternity issue out of the way by thanking Jesus for dieing in your place. Ask him to go with you where ever you go. Ask him to be your friend, your master, your savior. as for the soldier part...Pray Psalm 91.
1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. [a]
2 I will say [b] of the LORD, ';He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.';
3 Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare
and from the deadly pestilence.
4 He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
5 You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8 You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 If you make the Most High your dwelling鈥?
even the LORD, who is my refuge-
10 then no harm will befall you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread upon the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
14 ';Because he loves me,'; says the LORD, ';I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him
and show him my salvation.';
Put it in the first person and
claim it for your self.
God Bless You! Jesus loves you! :)
It's not too late. Get a KJV bible and get familiar with Psalms Proverbs and the gospels. I'm sure you will find somebody to help and encourage you when you are in. Keep your integrity no matter what, know that the Holy Spirit wants to have your whole self as He shows Jesus Christ to you. I'll keep you in my prayers and things will work out for you even better than you can imagine.
Leave everything in the hand of the God of Abraham, Daniel in the lion's den, David as he fled from Saul, and above all trust in the Lord.
ye sure here you go
Matt 26:52
Then Jesus said to him: 鈥淩eturn your sword to its place, for all those who take the sword will perish by the sword.
Christians have their faith in Gods Kingdom, not a country or nation. We do not kill our fellow brothers and sisters and ';fight'; for a nation.
Or how about the scriptures that talk about how God dissaproves of murder.
or how about matt 22:38
鈥榊ou must love your neighbor as yourself.
Loving God is about being obedient to his laws, as they're beneficial to us. Going against what he says, being disobedient is not showing love.
John 15:10
If YOU observe my commandments, YOU will remain in my love, just as I have observed the commandments of the Father and remain in his love.
What do you think Jesus thinks of you fighting for some stupid nation and killing the people that he loves Jesus is the head of the Christian congregation....you think he will be happy for you?
I have a really good prayer. Ask Jesus into your heart if you believe he died for you and admit you have sinned. A good verse is Psalm 27. It's about not being afraid. It will really help. Also a good pass-time is reading the Bible.
The Psalms are an excellent place to start; especially Psalm 91; do you mind if I put your name on a prayer list? Good Luck, and thank you for being willing to defend this country!
You'll be trained to kill people and you think you'll be doing God's work?
Nice job.
